![]() Also, the first time I tried this, I JUST deleted the bumpmap file and I ended up with a naked sim outfit, so this is just STEP ONE. The first thing I like to do is just delete the bumpmap, because we won't be needing it anymore. Open up the offending piece of clothing in SimPE: My sim isn't Taun We, though she's a character of my own. :p I assume it's editable, so if I feel motivated enough I'll just change it (if only because she seems so embarrassed!)ĮTA: the dress and her makeup come from here. It looks okay from a distance, but up close. I used to like this dress, but now that the bump map is visible it looks rather crappy (if that's the bump map). ![]() Also she appears to have a shadowy pendant necklace. The bump map looks like it's for a gown with a corset-style bodice you can see the lacing. Obviously the dress texture and the bump map (if that's what it is) don't belong together. Is the bumpy looking shadow effect the bump map? ![]() She's not a main character, and I created her on my old laptop, so I'd never gotten a good look at her dress before. At once point, I got in close to this sim. I was playing in my science fiction neighborhood yesterday. However, my new computer has a good video card. So I never really knew what bumps maps were. I used to play Sims 2 on my laptop, and the video card could not display bump maps.
